We use the following methods to make this site more accessible
- All pages on this site use XHTML 1.0 Transitional mark-up, validated using the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C's) validation service
- Page layout is coded with CSS not tables to ensure that the semantic integrity of the content is preserved.
- The site utilise's Access Keys for navigation without a mouse. (See table below for keys).
- The images all have text alternatives (ALT attributes).
- Navigation menus are marked up as HTML lists and styled with CSS.
- All pages are checked in accordance with DDA, W3C and Section 508 guidelines and comply with these guidelines as far as possible.
- If you are have trouble locating the information you are looking for, a site map is available on the footer menu at the bottom of every page.
- All text uses appropriate font sizes so text is enlarged and reduced using the text size functions available in all modern browsers.
- We have striven to make this website compliant with priority 1 and 2 guidelines of the W3 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
